New Hire On Snow Training

Day 1

We introduce the fundamentals and skills through personal skiing and riding. Then look at children’s specific lesson and see a beginner learning progression (Red-Yellow)

Day 2

Learn how to teach “great beginner lessons”. Join a breakout session (Mountain Explorers or Snow Stars) to learn the details of your home department.

Day 3

Group Handling & PDAS. Learn the basics of creativity and how to deliver a great lesson wrap up.

Day 4

Intro to green lessons and share tactics for going all mountain. Time for another practice teach with your peers!

Shadows

You will shadow real lessons. The first portion, watch and learn. The second portion, you will take control with support and feedback at the end.

January Follow Up

In January, after getting some experience under your belt. You will join us again for a follow up. We will troubleshoot issues from your real lessons. Then introduce blue zone teaching.
