Private LESSONs


To book lessons, guests have three options:

  1. Request a lesson online through www.okemo.com

  2. Request a lesson through the local call center (COMING SOON)

  3. You can Request a Private Lesson for your Guest

Requesting for a Guest:

  • Having the instructor manage the reservation for the guest provides an improved guest experience. Many of the guests who booked via phone or web waited weeks to see if we could adjust your schedule to accommodate their requests.

  • Having your clients communicate directly with you allows you to have more ownership over your own schedule. You tell them if you are available or not.  If they have tentative dates we can adjust your schedule to “hold for private” until your guest confirms with you.

How the process will work:

  1. Reach out to all past private lesson clientele via email/phone/text and inquire about their skiing/riding plans for Okemo this coming winter.

  2. Complete the private lesson request form to the best of your ability. There are certain fields that must be completed in order for the form to be submitted.

  3.  The form will be sent to the okskiandride@vailresorts.com email address which will be monitored by the Managers & Supervisors.  Once the lesson is booked, you will get a confirmation email back.

  4. If we receive a form from you on a scheduled day off, we will add you to the schedule and proceed with the booking. 

  5. If there is already a private lesson assignment in your schedule we will need to check our availability to move this assignment. This may prolong how quickly we get back to you.

Things ski school supervisors/managers cannot do:

-Book lessons with an expired or invalid credit card. This information must be updated by the guest through Product sales.

-Refund lesson charges after they have already been processed. Ski School supervisors or managers can pass along your lesson changes to our Product Sales team to process.
