Not sure where to send your question? Use OkemoSkiSchoolStaff@vailresorts.com. We monitor this inbox daily when we’re in the office. For urgent matters, once the season starts, you will have direct contact information for your supervisor team.

Next, Submit Your Schedule for the Winter

Depending on your employment status as a full- or part-time instructor with us this winter, please fill out the schedule that applies to you. This page will connect you with a full-time, 25-day part-time, or 18-day part-time schedule submission option. Each schedule will layout the requirements we expect you to meet this season with us. If you have already submitted your schedule when you were first hired, you can skip this and move on to the next step.

Keep an Eye on your Inbox

We will be communicating with you primarily through email this season. Our regular newsletters not only offer information about your season, but also about our company. Check past newsletters below and watch for emails from OkemoSkiSchoolStaff@vailresorts.com in your inbox.

Download the Epic Employee App

Benefits, company information, and more

It’s time to start to familiarize yourself with this app and website. You won’t be able to access everything that this app has to offer yet, but this app will be your friend this season. You can access everything from your employee benefits and HR documents to location information. You can even keep an eye on the Vail Resorts stock chart. For now, please start with this helpful link below to learn more about our company culture and your employee benefits.

New Employee Set-Up

After you complete the background check or Law Violation Question, you will receive an email from vailresortscareers@successfactors.com with instructions for completing your New Employee Setup. Some of you may have already done this following your official hiring with us.

  • Follow the link in the email to complete your documents. We recommend that you give yourself 30 minutes.

  • Please complete your New Employee Setup promptly. Even if your start date is a few months away, we need this information to get you set up in our systems and finalize your new position.

Final Onboarding Forms

Within two weeks of your start date, look for an email from vailresortscareers@vailresorts.com with instructions for completing your Final Onboarding Forms. This email will also contain your login information for Vail Resorts’ employee systems and your employee ID number. This email should come to you before mid-November.

These forms give us the information we need to make sure you get paid and receive your pass to get up on the mountain, so make sure you complete them before your first day!

Prepare your documents for your first day

When you check in for work, you will need to bring in original, unexpired work authorization documents (no copies). Review the list of acceptable documents here and make sure you have them available. Vail Resorts is an E-Verify participant, so if you bring in a list B document it MUST contain a photo.

Bookmark The LIFT

Our Online Training Platform

This winter, more than ever, we will be welcoming you to the resort through a series of introductory training courses before we meet on-snow. The LIFT is Vail Resorts’ online training platform. This year you will start with COVID-19 safety, slope safety, and guest service courses. For now, please make note of this webpage for when training is available to you.

Read the Vermont Employee Guide

Please take the time to read through this Vail Resorts Employee Guide for Vermont before your first day. This Employee Guide details many of our programs, policies and procedures - all of which are designed to make our company a satisfying and rewarding place to work.
