Equipment Inspection

Please review the information in the link below to determine which type of inspection you need

In-House Inspections should be performed for employees who have alpine/AT skis that have already been inspected by VRR, new equipment with a shop ticket, Snowboards and Telemark skis.

To complete an in-house inspection:

  • Check with your manager/department to find out who your department’s designated inspector is.

  • Meet with that person to have your equipment inspected and stickered.

  • If the inspection reveals questions or concerns about your equipment, your department will provide you with an Equipment Inspection Voucher so that you can have your gear inspected and adjusted at a VRR Store.

VRR Inspections must be performed for new employees with Alpine/AT skis, new equipment that was mounted by the employee (or third party without proper paperwork/shop ticket), any new/different boot being paired with a previously inspected alpine ski or any employee that wants to have VRR inspect Alpine/AT equipment.

To complete a VRR inspection:

  • Get an Equipment Inspection Voucher from your department and present it at a VRR Store.
Please note that not all locations are equipped to perform equipment inspections, and some VRR locations may not be open or performing inspections due to COVID-19 concern. Please check with local Health & Safety for any updates and/or questions.

  • Please plan ahead and have patience as adherence to COVID-19/Repair Shop protocols may lengthen some tasks.

  • VRR will inspect your equipment, adjust as necessary to meet the manufacturer’s recommended settings, and provide your approval sticker.

VRR recommends all alpine boots be inspected early so replacement pieces can be ordered in advance of the ski season.
